What you need
- 2-3 chicken breasts (depending on how big your family is!)
- 1 box whole wheat linguine pasta
- 1 (28 ounce) jar healthy spaghetti sauce (we like Newman's Own sauce)
- 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 1 diced onion
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
What to do
- Put the chicken in the crockpot and add your spaghetti sauce, mushrooms, onion, and garlic.
- Cover your crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours (for most...may be 7-9 depending on your crockpot)
- You can either shred the chicken by pulling it apart with a fork or serve it as the whole chicken breast. Serve whichever you'd prefer over whole wheat linguine for a healthy pasta dish!
